Home Depot Compromise
On September 9th, 2014 Home Depot confirmed in a press release that its payment data systems have been breached, potentially impacting its U.S. and Canadian stores. Home Depot’s investigation is showing the breach may have occurred in April 2014 and continued through September 2014. Once Oxford Bank has been provided by Visa® the list of potentially compromised cards the bank will begin to reissue cards to card holders that may be at risk. If you used your debit card at a Home Depot location during the timeframe listed above we suggest closely monitoring your account for fraudulent transactions. Oxford Bank offers online banking as a free service allowing you to monitor your account. If you notice a suspicious transaction on your account or to enroll in online banking please contact us at 248-628-2533.
